Purpose:
The Sanitation Technician position is responsible for maintaining the facility following written Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s) for production to run product that meets all food safety requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to make sure that all equipment and areas are cleaned on a regular basis.
- Maintain the facility that is audit ready in a manner that meets all food safety requirements.
- Clean production equipment following established SSOP’s.
- Accurately and legibly maintain cleaning records.
- Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Empty all trash and cardboard containers and dispose of properly.
- Maintain the facilities outside grounds for cleanliness.
Follow all:
- Company Policies.
- Good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Food safety management system policies and procedures.
- Sanitation procedures.
- Food safety management system policies and procedures to protect the Brand by providing extraordinary value through food safety and product quality.
- Safety policies and procedures.

Equipment Used:
- Safety Glasses.
- Lockout/Tag out.
- Uniforms, Safety Shoes for Wet Environment are provided.
- Basic use of Hand Tools.
- Cleaning Chemicals and Foaming Equipment.
- Water Hose (Working in a wet environment).
- Pressure Washer.
Shift:
- 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift.

Skills/Work Experience Needed:
- Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Leadership Qualities / Works Independently / Self-Managed / Accountable and Responsible.
- Communicate Effectively with Co-workers.
- Read and Understand all Production Documents and SSOP’s in English.
- Mechanically Inclined.
- Knowledge of Windows Software (Excel, Word, etc).
- Knowledge of Kleanz Software preferred.
- Boom and Scissor lift experience.
