Purpose:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized facility by completing a variety of daily assigned tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of the interior building with the ability to dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
- Cleaning and stock restrooms.
- Clean up spills with proper equipment and providing appropriate safety signs.
- Notify manager of repairs and supplies needed.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Complete task in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Operate and maintain floor scrubber.
- Maintain 6S in all areas of the facility.
- Advise Supervisor of situations that may pose a significant risk to employee safety.
- Meets and maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for assigned work area.
- Follow all:
- Company Policies.
- Good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
- Food safety management system policies and procedures.
- Sanitation procedures.
- Food safety management system policies and procedures to protect the Brand by providing extraordinary value through food safety and product quality.
- Safety policies and procedures.

- Proven working experience as a janitor.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiar with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Integrity and ability to work independently.

- Self-motivated.
- Responsible.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
